KIKUUBE RDC WARNS CIVIL SERVANTS AGAINST ABSENTEEISM

KIKUUBE: Amlan Tumusiime the Resident District Commissioner Kikuube has cautioned the civil servants against absenteeism.

The warning was sounded on Tuesday during the launch of service delivery committee for Kikuube district local government at the district council hall.

”You should desist from absenteeism and laziness, you should be self driven and do what your supposed to do,” he warned the civil servants.

The Kikuube District Chairperson Hon Peter Banura also urged civil servants to serve diligently and work tirelessly in order to improve on service delivery.

Banura also called for harmony, peace and togetherness among the district authorities if they are to improve on the service delivery in the district.

”If we are to improve on the service delivery in the district, we should have harmony, peace and togetherness,” he asserted.

The District Chief Administrative Officer Chelangat Andrew Milton Kamalingin disclosed that the committee will improve on service delivery since all the mistakes will be rectified.

According to Chelengat, the committee will be sitting quarterly to share and discuss the levels of service delivery in the district.

The committee consists of the resident district commissioner as the chairperson, the chief administrative officer as the secretary, district executive committee members, all heads of departments, senior assistant chief administrative officers, town clerks and LC3 chairpersons
